BARBIE BENEFITS OF PLAY

Barbie and neuroscientists from Cardiff University have collaborated on a new study which for the first time uses neuroimaging as evidence to explore the effects of doll play. The new study shows conclusively that doll play helps kids develop empathy. I was the Lead Designer and Art Director on this project. For the design, we wanted the content to feel informative and look credible, while still keeping that Barbie touch. I took a clean approach to the color palette and design in order to achieve this across all digital touchpoints, including the website landing page and social assets.
